Rocky Mountain Featherbed's popular Christy vest. This model features a single piece of yoke leather and a natural mouton collar. The outer and inner linings are made of the original 70 denier nylon taffeta developed when Rocky Mountain Featherbed was revived. This nylon taffeta, faithfully reproduced after studying vintage items, also has the functionality of a down pack, and its three-layer structure significantly improves its lightness and heat retention.

The down used is water-repellent down from Europe. Normally, down loses its heat-retaining ability when it gets wet, but by applying a water-repellent coating to the down itself, it has achieved a specification that allows it to maintain its heat-retaining ability even in bad weather. The down, which is 90% down and 10% feather, boasts a high heat retention of 700FP, achieving amazing lightness and heat retention.

The leather of the yoke is a combination of tannin and chrome tanning. The dyeing process allows the leather to retain its natural texture while remaining highly durable.

Due to the characteristics of natural leather, there may be uneven colouring or scratches on the leather parts or mouton parts. This is a natural mark and is proof that the leather is natural. There are individual differences in texture, but please enjoy it as a characteristic of natural leather. The edges of the leather may stand up. Please understand that this is a design feature. If you are concerned about the leather drying out or hardening, use a leather care cream or similar to nourish it.

In order to make the most of the feathers' properties, the fabric needs to have a certain level of breathability. Therefore, feathers will inevitably blow out. If feathers blow out from the surface of the fabric, do not try to pull them out by force. Instead, pull the feathers from the back side and return them to the inside of the product.
